Does this means DC is finally introducing a super-hero of Asian ancestry who isn’t an expert in martial arts or somehow symbolizes Eastern culture? (i.e. Japanese characters with solar-based powers…)

Yeah, too bad Byrne doesn’t give a rat’s ass and is just pencilling him like anybody else, leaving it up to the colorist to give said character a vaguely asian skin tone.
Bleh.
And, i’m not convinced this guy isn’t gonna know some sort of “Tiny Kung Fu.”
I don’t have a lot of faith in Byrne these days, but hopefully Gail Simone comes through here
